Major download engine overhaul, a full Svelte 5 migration, and a wide range of new features.

New features

  • Download engine: HiFi/Qobuz endpoint rotation, cross-source fallback by ISRC, automatic quality fallback, M3U8 playlist generation, and failed-download export.
  • Tidal: full artist discography browsing, profile picture/banner download, a 30 second audio preview, an explicit content badge, popularity-based sorting, ALAC format support, drag-and-drop FLAC analysis, and COPYRIGHT/ORGANIZATION Vorbis tags.
  • Toast notifications, a queue status filter bar, HTTP/SOCKS5 proxy support (for restricted regions), per-icon hover animations, and accessibility aria-labels.

Fixes

  • The Files page, History page, Mix URLs, Tidal v1 credentials, and light mode, all broken at various points before this release.

Internal

  • Migrated the frontend from Svelte 3 to Svelte 5 (runes) and Vite 4 to Vite 6, updated Go and frontend dependencies, and replaced debug println calls with structured logging.
