[mqtt5 0.44.1] - 2026-09-30
Fixed
A resumed session no longer receives a new message before the older unacknowledged one it is resuming. After a broker restart, a publish routed to a reconnecting client between its registration and the reload of its persisted inflight messages went straight to delivery, while the older inflight message was put back on the queue behind it ([MQTT-4.4.0-1], #151). A connection is now treated as behind until its session has bound, so such a publish is queued after the reloaded message.
Added
MessageRouter::register_unbound_session, and ClientQueue::awaiting_bind, ClientQueue::expect_bind and ClientQueue::mark_bound.
