[mqtt5 0.44.2] - 2026-10-01

Fixed

  • Connecting no longer blocks a runtime thread while the broker's hostname is resolved (#156). MqttClient::connect and its variants resolved the address with the blocking ToSocketAddrs, so a slow DNS server stalled the tokio worker thread running the connect, and every task scheduled on it. Resolution now uses tokio::net::lookup_host. The bridge's TLS connection path had the same blocking lookup and now uses it too.

[mqttv5-cli 0.29.3] - 2026-10-01

Fixed

  • mqttv5 bench resolves the broker address without blocking the runtime.
