Markdown is essential to NaryaVim: notes, docs and a whole Zettelkasten live in it.
-
marksman: go to linked notes, find references, list headings as symbols (
<leader>ds, with per-level icons), and complete links. Standalone.mdfiles outside any repository get it too. -
[[wikilink]]completion everywhere: in folders that neither marksman nor obsidian.nvim index, a custom blink.cmp source suggests the notes next to and below the current file. - render-markdown.nvim: headings, lists, tables, code blocks and callouts rendered right in the buffer.
- bullets.vim: lists continue and renumber automatically.
- stay-centered.nvim: the cursor line stays in the middle of the screen while you write.
- Prettier formatting with
<leader>ff, and<leader>usto toggle spell checking.
obsidian.nvim brings most of Obsidian's features to Neovim: link navigation, backlinks, tags, templates, daily notes and more. Run :Obsidian to see all its commands.
-
Workspaces come from the git-ignored
lua/options.lua(see Options). Without it, the folder of the current file is used as the workspace. -
Templates live in the
templates/folder of the vault. -
Daily notes go in
daily/, namedYYYY-MM-DD, from thedaily.mdtemplate. -
<leader>tttoggles a checkbox.
:Graph brings Obsidian's graph view to Neovim, in two flavors:
- Terminal: a floating window with a braille renderer and live physics.
- Browser: a self-contained canvas page served by Neovim itself (localhost only, token-protected). Clicking a node opens the note in Neovim.

It reads your vault's .obsidian/graph.json, so filters, color groups and forces start out the same as in the app. It also supports most of Obsidian's search syntax (path:, tag:, content:, regex, OR, …), a timelapse animation, and live updates as you edit. Your vault is never written to. Press ? in the terminal view for all its shortcuts.
The full documentation, including the feature-parity table, is in lua/custom/graph/README.md.
