`make version VERSION=X.Y.Z` sets the version in the three SDK manifests and
the landing page SDK note (English and Chinese). It replaces only the version
text and ensures each file ends with a newline.

The workspace setting files.insertFinalNewline stops VS Code's built-in JSON
formatter from deleting a file's final newline on save, which it does while
that setting is false.
