levain 0.5.9
Levain is now tested against, and requires, anneal-memory 0.9.31, so levain doctor and levain update no longer report a fresh install's anneal as ahead of the known-good version.
Changed
- Levain now requires anneal-memory 0.9.31 or later (
anneal-memory>=0.9.31,<0.10), and 0.9.31 is the version it is tested against. 0.9.31 was already what a fresh install resolved to, solevain doctorandlevain updatereported it as "ahead of this release's known-good, untested together"; they no longer do. Levain keeps its known-good anneal version and its floor as one number, so they move together; the one 0.9.31 behaviour Levain's own text leans on isanneal-memory wrap-status, whichlevain wrap's refusal sends you to and which reads one transaction from 0.9.31 (0.9.30's could show a wrap that had been replaced with the older wrap's bound token; it is an advisory display). anneal 0.9.30 and 0.9.31 added no migration entry and changed no schema, and their API additions are additive and unused by the seed, so the seed needed no change.
Added
- A test that fails when the pyproject floor and the known-good anneal version differ, when the anneal installed for the test is older than the known-good one, or when that anneal has a migration entry newer than the version the seed is reconciled to (the next anneal that adds one), so a release is not cut with an entry nobody has reviewed against the seed.
