Wanderburg Damage Stats 0.7.0 Alpha

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 16 Sep 14:50

A quieter damage meter and upgrade hints closer to the cards.

  • The HUD stays hidden during starting loadout selection and before the run begins.
  • Smaller, translucent DPS meter with thin per-weapon damage bars.
  • Short upgrade estimates above or below cards instead of a default side panel.
  • F7: recommendations on/off. F8: overlay on/off. F9: detailed comparison, or measured skill/auto breakdown during combat where available.
  • Incomplete comparisons are labeled PARTIAL LEAD. Separate damage-over-time tracking is not included yet.

Install or update

Close Wanderburg, extract the ZIP and copy BepInEx/plugins/WanderburgDamageStats.dll into the same folder in your game installation. BepInEx 6 for Windows x64 / Unity IL2CPP is required. Start the game through Steam. English and German guides are included.

Validation and alpha limits

Build passed with no warnings or errors; all 89 automated checks passed. The new card-label placement has not completed its final in-game visual check. If labels do not fit above or below a card they remain hidden; F9 provides the detailed comparison. Recommendations remain conditional damage estimates, not guaranteed best overall choices or previews of actual future cards.

Wanderburg Damage Stats 0.6.0 Alpha

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 10 Sep 21:31

Version 0.6.0 puts damage statistics first and makes the upgrade coach optional.

New HUD and controls

  • Large total-DPS readout, individual weapon DPS and colored damage-share bars.
  • Separate upgrade coach panel with a saved on/off setting.
  • F7 or the coach button: toggle recommendations. F8: toggle the whole HUD. F9 or the details button: show model details.
  • Small version label so you can check which build is running.

Upgrade calculations and planning

  • Samples paths through the next five normal module upgrades, configurable from one to eight, with up to 64 paths per supported current card.
  • Compounds supported upgrades, including flat damage and later multipliers, and compares damage throughout each route.
  • Uses the actual rolled card attributes, native stat formulas, observed damage shares and activation data.
  • Corrects Ram collision/Fury calculations and adds a persistent-army model for Side Barracks, including unit damage, population and attack interval. Replenishment cooldown is not counted as an automatic steady-DPS increase.
  • Lists excluded current cards and labels incomplete comparisons instead of claiming a winner over cards the model cannot evaluate.

Install or update

Requires BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64. Tested with Wanderburg EA 0.9.8.

  1. Close Wanderburg.
  2. Download and extract WanderburgDamageStats-0.6.0.zip below.
  3. Copy BepInEx/plugins/WanderburgDamageStats.dll from the package into your game's BepInEx/plugins folder, replacing the previous DLL.
  4. Start the game through Steam.

English and German installation instructions are included. Download the mod ZIP, rather than GitHub's automatically generated source-code archives. BepInEx is installed separately.

Alpha limitations and validation

These are sampled damage estimates, not a prediction of the actual next cards or a guaranteed best overall build. The planner uses a separate random generator and does not alter gameplay stats or the game's RNG. Future new modules, artifacts, survival, changing playstyle and unsupported special effects are outside the search.

  • Release build: zero warnings/errors; 89 tests passed.
  • New HUD, coach toggles and repeated future searches checked in the running game.
  • Side Barracks regression tests pass; a new live Barracks offer and the long-details scroll limit still need in-game validation.

See MODEL_COVERAGE.md in the ZIP or repository for calculation assumptions and remaining gaps.

Wanderburg Damage Stats 0.2.4 Alpha

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 10 Sep 16:48

Recommendations now distinguish a modeled damage pick from an overall best choice. When an offered card includes duration, size, range, projectile speed, cooldown, charges, or another effect that cannot be converted reliably into DPS, the overlay uses DAMAGE PICK and calls out higher-rarity utility alternatives.

Rarity still does not receive an arbitrary score multiplier. The mod compares the rolled before/after values, while clearly stating when important parts of a card remain outside the model.

The active mod version is now shown unobtrusively beside the DAMAGE STATS heading.

Validation:

  • Clean release build with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • 18 parser and recommendation checks passed
  • Regression coverage for the Epic Ram card containing damage multiplier, duration, and projectile speed

Compatibility: Wanderburg EA 0.9.8 on Windows with BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64.

Wanderburg Damage Stats 0.2.3 Alpha

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 10 Sep 16:41

Fixes an upgrade-ranking error affecting cards with rarity-colored values. Some Uncommon cards were parsed as having no numerical change and incorrectly displayed as situational, allowing a weaker Common card to win.

Cooldown recommendations are also more conservative. COOLDOWN ABILITY now uses only the weapon's observed ability-damage share, rather than claiming all auto-attack damage from the same weapon. Cooldown gains receive a utilization discount because theoretical uptime is only achieved when the ability is used immediately whenever it becomes available.

Rarity itself does not receive a score bonus: the stronger rolled before/after values already represent its benefit.

Validation:

  • Clean release build with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • 17 parser and recommendation checks passed
  • Regression coverage for nested rarity markup and separate ability/auto cooldown channels

Compatibility: Wanderburg EA 0.9.8 on Windows with BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64.

Wanderburg Damage Stats 0.2.2 Alpha

Pre-release

Choose a tag to compare

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 10 Sep 16:28

Upgrade recommendations now include the future numerical values shown on legendary and special cards. A card with a special effect can still win the numerical ranking instead of being discarded as purely situational.

The recommendation now displays an estimated total DPS after the selected upgrade, alongside the current measured DPS. Special effects that cannot be expressed through the visible numbers remain clearly marked as unmodelled.

This release also adds individually copyable English Steam Guide sections to the repository.

Validation:

  • Clean release build with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • 13 parser and recommendation checks passed
  • Regression case covers the live Ram offer with 1 → 71 flat damage and two additional damage multipliers

Compatibility: Wanderburg EA 0.9.8 on Windows with BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64.

Pre-release

@lia-xim lia-xim released this 10 Sep 16:17

The in-game interface is now fully English. Upgrade recommendations appear above the weapon list and use a clearer BEST PICK: CARD X label, so the suggested choice remains visible even with several mounted weapons.

This update also detects the visible upgrade cards directly when Wanderburg's internal menu flag is delayed. DPS, damage share, ranking, special-effect notices, number formatting, and configuration descriptions now use English text.

Validation:

  • Clean release build with 0 warnings and 0 errors
  • 12 parser and recommendation tests passed
  • Upgrade-card detection confirmed from the live BepInEx log

Compatibility: Wanderburg EA 0.9.8 on Windows with BepInEx 6 for Unity IL2CPP, Windows x64.

Validierung:

  • Build: 0 Warnungen, 0 Fehler
  • 12 Tests für Kartenparser und Bewertungslogik bestanden
  • BepInEx-Start über Steam für Wanderburg EA 0.9.8 / Unity 6000.0.63f1 bestätigt
