XDen is essentially a next-generation P2P database. You would use it like a library to aid in applications. While there are things to be disputed, overall the outcome will be the same - doing something that no-one has done before. XDen is designed to be good, but it's certainly not going to be right. It's the first stepping stone. Before you build the magnificent, you have to start somewhere.
Goals:
- Build XDen for a variety of applications
- Don't enforce settings - let the user decide
- Simplistic and concise design
