0.6.0 2026-10-11

  • First independently maintained release under github.com/liang-chang/debounce.
  • Replace successful-execution cooldown with cross-process trailing-edge debounce.
  • Run the latest accepted command after a quiet window; merge triggers during
    execution into one pending next run without interrupting the running command.
  • Add explicit task keys, status queries and user-scoped IPC coordination.
  • Use Windows named pipes and Linux abstract Unix sockets; add experimental
    macOS pathname sockets with file-lock ownership and stale-socket recovery.
  • Remove upstream file-based cache and --cache-dir behavior.
  • Primarily used on Windows; Linux tested in WSL2 Debian. GitHub Actions tests
    passed on Windows, Linux and macOS. macOS has no local runtime testing by the
    maintainer and remains experimental.

Install with Go:

go install github.com/liang-chang/debounce@v0.6.0

Windows: download the ZIP for your architecture. Linux/macOS: use the matching tar.gz; Linux DEB/RPM packages are also available.

All three platforms passed GitHub Actions for this release. macOS remains experimental because the maintainer has no Mac for local testing.
