BOFT CLI 0.7.7

Install with:

npm install -g @liberseek/boft-cli

macOS and Windows installers are attached. Linux uses the npm package (x64 and arm64).

macOS first launch
The DMG contains BOFT. After dragging it to Applications, if macOS says the app cannot be verified, run:

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/BOFT.app

Then open BOFT again.

What's New
Connections can install a missing Harness CLI on the local machine. Claude Opus 5.5 can use a 1M context window. DeepSeek Harness now speaks only Session Format V4.

Features

• Install a missing Harness CLI from its expanded connection row on the local Host. The row still shows the official command, a copyable install prompt, the official installation page, and Check again. WorkBuddy stays a manual desktop download. Remote Hosts do not offer one-click install.
• Use that same install, version check, and update path from the console. One-click install is unavailable when the Host is not running.
• After Claude CLI is installed, its connection row shows a 1M switch, on by default. Opus 5.5 sessions use the local [1m] suffix, and the gateway still receives the original model id. Claude CLI keeps a 200k window when the base URL is not the official API.
• Accept only DeepSeek Harness V4. Verified CLIs are 0.1.7-rc.1, 0.1.7-rc.2, 0.2.0-rc.1, and 0.2.0-rc.2. Versions below 0.1.7-rc.1 are rejected. Newer SemVer versions can be tried and still have to pass the native protocol check. Legacy and V0/V3 are removed.
• Project native DSH compaction and context pressure, select V4 permission modes, and show PTC sub-calls as their own tool cards.
• Create an External Thread inside a Codex project. Desktop project, Git, and Daybreak metadata are stored beside the Thread record and follow Codex project deletion.

Fixes

• Answer a timed DSH question only after its native result is known, including a late answer in the same turn. A failed result closes the question as cancelled and reports the error.
• Accept a tool result that DSH writes for a call that had not started.
• Insert a message into a running native Codex task on a remote Host when codexhost/thread/ownership/list is unsupported. External Threads and connection failures stay protected.
• Unblock Controller readiness when Renderer CDP hangs.
• Honor CODEXHOST_INSTALL_ROOT on macOS.
• Print the console address as soon as the console is serving.
• Fall back the Pi inspect directory when the host-runtime working directory is /.
• Refresh only the selected Host after an installation check settles.

在本地 Host 上展开未安装的 Harness，除了官方安装命令、可复制的安装 Prompt、官方安装页和「重新检测」，还可以一键安装。WorkBuddy 仍从官网手动下载桌面应用。远程 Host 不提供一键安装。Codex 未运行时，控制台里的同一连接页也可以安装、检查版本和更新；Host 不可用时没有一键安装。

Claude CLI 安装后，连接行显示默认开启的 1M 开关。Opus 5.5 会话在本地使用 [1m] 后缀，网关仍收到原来的模型标识。当 Base URL 不是官方 API 时，Claude CLI 保持 200k 窗口。

DeepSeek Harness 只接受 V4。已验证版本是 0.1.7-rc.1、0.1.7-rc.2、0.2.0-rc.1 和 0.2.0-rc.2。低于 0.1.7-rc.1 的版本会被拒绝。更高的 SemVer 版本可以尝试连接，但仍须通过原生协议校验。Legacy 与 V0/V3 已移除。本版会投影原生压缩和上下文压力，支持 V4 权限模式，并把 PTC 子调用显示成独立工具卡片。

外部 Thread 可以在 Codex 项目里创建。Desktop 的项目、Git 和 Daybreak 元数据写在 Thread 记录旁边，并会在官方项目删除后清除。

限时提问会等原生结果出来后再回答，同一回合里的迟到回答也能送出。失败结果会把提问按 cancelled 关闭并返回错误。DSH 为尚未启动的调用补写的工具结果会被接受。远程机器上，运行中的原生 Codex 任务在不支持 codexhost/thread/ownership/list 时仍可插话；外部 Thread 和连接故障不会走这条回退。Renderer CDP 挂起时，Controller 不再一直停在未就绪。macOS 会遵守 CODEXHOST_INSTALL_ROOT。控制台一开始提供服务就会打印地址。host-runtime 工作目录是 / 时，Pi 检查会回退到可用目录。安装检查结束后只刷新所选 Host。

本版本许可证为 LGPL-3.0-only。macOS 首次打开如提示无法验证，拖到「应用程序」后执行：

xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Applications/BOFT.app

然后再打开即可。
