A garden-tending quirk-fix release: four fixes surfaced while running a full
vault-maintenance pass end-to-end (which doubles as an integration test of the
plugin).

Added

  • memex session reconcile-orphans [--apply] — clears stale pending-memo
signals whose session already has a Layer-1 memo. A PreCompact signal
persists until cleared; if /memex:save already wrote a memo, the signal is
stale. A signal is "covered" when a memo exists for the same project dated
within --window days (default 2). Dry-run by default; --apply deletes the
    covered ones, leaving genuine retries.
  • memex check filesystem fallback — when Obsidian isn't running,
crystallization_check now degrades to a markdown scan (resolves [[links]]
against filename stems + frontmatter aliases) instead of erroring out after a
15s timeout. Makes the check usable headless/cron. All fidelity gaps over-
report (a real link looks like a ghost), never the reverse — safe degraded mode.

Fixed

  • **Skill !command dynamic-context injection no longer clobbers `awk` positional fields.** The harness applies slash-command argument substitution (`$1`/`$2`/`$ARGUMENTS`) to `!`command bodies before execution, so
    awk '{print $2}' became awk '{print }'. Replaced with cut -d: -f2.
Rule: never use $<digit> inside a bang-command injection.
  • Garden-tending diagnostic no longer false-flags a substantial overview
that lacks memos_digested frontmatter as "never condensed" — it now reports
MAINTAINED (add the frontmatter; don't re-condense).

Notes

  • Documented the stale-.dist-info venv-churn cleanup as a release-SOP step.
