Highlights

Web: the client got a new shell, composer and message renderer, its protocol layer is split out, controls apply optimistically so a click lands before the server answers, and session storage plus transcript integrity were hardened.

TUI: a turn's reasoning and tool calls now collapse into a three-row activity block that Ctrl+O expands; reading a file no longer dumps its contents (Read, Grep and Glob cap the expanded body at 15 rows and report the hidden count, while shell output keeps its full view); the block's token estimate prints once instead of twice; and Ctrl+O acts on the component it points at, so new blocks and cards start collapsed and one press always changes something visible.

Diff previews can no longer stall the render loop: the comparison table is capped at 250k cells, and a whole-file rewrite degrades to a coarse remove-all/add-all diff instead of rebuilding tens of millions of cells per frame while the edit is still streaming.

Subagents: the roster lives in one place (the profile files, with USE WHEN / NOT FOR triggers); plan and reviewer can spawn explore again; the capability mode travels through the RLM bridge, so a restricted subagent cannot hand a grandchild the full tool set; and the /model diy picker keeps the row order users are used to.

Cleanup: the shell installers and orphaned postinstall scripts are gone (5 files, about 1.6k lines), the unused package-root icon is no longer shipped, and the README and collaboration docs were refreshed.

Version: all workspace packages bumped to 0.16.2.
