v0.16.7
Highlights
Agent roster:
- A new designer subagent owns the visual layer: three entry points (direction, spec & apply, audit), a track-first method with evidence-cited style dials, a vague-word firewall that forces specs into observable values, and terminal-specific guidance (width budget, double-width characters, SGR discipline, density, state legibility). It writes files but never touches behavior, runs gates, or reviews diffs — those stay with the coder, verify, and reviewer agents.
- The oracle subagent is now the large-scope code reviewer: it can file structured code-health findings (severity, location, evidence, fix required) that the parent receives as an assembled block, and its remit is documented alongside the other bundled profiles.
- Bundled subagent profiles are the single source of truth: the sidebar roster and model picker derive from the profile map, so adding a profile no longer requires hand-syncing display tables.
TUI:
- The agent sidebar panel and model picker show a ninth row correctly — the previous fixed-eight layout wrapped the last row onto the first, and each row now takes a golden-ratio phase offset so any roster size stays visually distinct.
- The slash-command menu no longer truncates at 50 items: command tails and skill commands that were hidden by a file-suggestion cap are reachable again, while file suggestions keep their limit.
- New
/croncommand for scheduled tasks; skill slash completions rank by bare skill name; mermaid blocks render as terminal diagrams. - Sidebar and status polish: default user-message highlight off, model latency judged on its own ladder, session duration row dropped.
Internals:
- Superseded stream drafts are reclaimed from the session wire (perf); machine-specific paths and third-party references replaced; terminal UI package bumped to 0.87.0.
Version: all workspace packages bumped to 0.16.7.
Validation
- Full repository suite: 7,291 tests passed, no failures; typecheck, lint, sherif and build all clean.
- The designer profile and the ninth-row layout are locked by pin tests plus mutation checks: reverting any pinned phrase, the not-for list, the phase formula, or the slash-command fix turns the matching test red.
- The slash-command regression test covers 60 commands end to end; the phase test runs on a frozen clock for determinism.
