Clear and concise description of the problem
It would be great if the plugin could prefer an existing installation and root CA path. With the recent changes (#58), I was confused why the existing root certificate was not working anymore. So in fact this could also be flagged as a bug?
Suggested solution
Maybe a simple check to spawn mkcert would be enough.
