Beginning June 10th, 2020, all newly created Slack apps will be unable to use the deprecated methods in channels., im., mpim., and groups.. Existing apps have until November 25th, 2020 to migrate to the Conversations API. Learn more.

We use channels.list here and I don't think anything else

Possibly the official slack API client doesn't suck as much as it used to and can be used instead of my fork? Merits investigation

Remove deprecated slack api call

Remove channels.list call because it's being deprecated

* update dependencies
* remove python 2 from makefile
* add envrc to .gitignore
* do some more formatting
