--help output should go to stdout, not stderr

Extended Description

Probably the other tools have the same issue. But when I do the above command I
only get to see the last page without being able to scroll back.

A similar issue is probably why "llc -version > log" does to output the version
info to the log-file. Is everything printed to stdout?

Everything gets printed to stderr, not stdout.

Try:

llc --help |& less
or
llc --help 2>&1 | less

Yes I see, but why? As far as I know this is not the usual behaviour.
For instance: "gcc --help|less" does what I would expect, the llvm behave 'odd'
in this respect.

Okay, fair enough. I don't know that there is any standard, but choice of stderr was arbitrary.
