The last declaration of g() is seen as a variable declaration.

Seems fine to me, this compiles as expected:

struct u { int a; };
struct u f();
struct u *s, g();

void foo() { g(); }

The AST dump also looks right:

You are right.
I get confused by the fact that clang::VarDecl::classof(K) returned true (being K a pointer to g() declaration).
