• Tutorial: each note now fades out, and the next one fades in right where it belongs once the highlight has reached its element. It no longer appears somewhere else first and jumps.
• Convert opens on the same drop zone as Image & GIF and Clip, with the four conversions as shortcuts inside it.
• Help: answers start closed and unfold gently when you click a question.

Fixed

• Replaying the tutorial while it was open could leave the wrong page behind it.

• Each chapter is announced by the welcome voice. It follows the startup voice setting.
• Skip it anytime (Esc). Once finished or skipped, it never comes back on its own; Help → Replay the tutorial shows it again.

Aoze 1.2.2: A Clip preview you can rely on: watch while it works, compare in sync.

New

• Frame by frame: ← and → step one frame at a time, on both sides of the comparison. With a result, the steps follow its frames, so the in-between frames of Smooth Motion show one by one.

Improved

• The original plays as soon as a clip is imported, and keeps playing while it is processed. The progress shows on the result side.
• The result joins playback by itself when it is ready, at the same moment, with no need to reopen the clip. Processing again keeps the original playing too.
• Before / After stays in sync: the result follows the original with small speed adjustments instead of jumps, pauses on the same frame, and seeks and loops together.
• One sound only: the original's, or the result's when the speed was changed.
• Lighter preview: clips and results above 1440p play through a 1080p copy (720p on modest graphics cards), so comparing never decodes two 4K videos at once. Your files are untouched.
• Moving the Before / After bar is purely visual: it never seeks, reloads or processes anything.

Fixed

• When the result arrived during playback, it stayed paused at the start while the original played on, and the timeline froze.
• A result that could not be shown made the whole clip say it could not be previewed, even on other clips. Now Aoze makes a light copy and carries on; if that fails too, only the result side says so and the original keeps playing.
• The result side was black while it loaded. The original now shows there until the result's first frame is ready.
• Space and the play button could get out of step with what was really playing.

Aoze 1.1.2: Clip gets the tools edits need, without getting complicated.

New

• Smart Reframe: turn a clip into 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5. The frame follows what matters (the moving subject, or the cursor and changing panels on a screen recording) and moves smoothly, instead of always cutting the centre.
• Speed: Slow, Fast, a ready-made Ramp, or your own curve. Changes are eased, slow parts get new in-between frames, and the sound follows at the same pitch.
• Color: LUTs, with six built-in looks or your own .cube files, and an intensity slider. They also work with HDR output.
• Beat Sync: a zoom punch or a short shake on the beat of the clip's music. If there is no clear beat, nothing is added and Aoze says so.
• Glow: a soft light around bright areas.
• Clip presets: Anime Smooth, TikTok Smooth, Cinematic and Clean. Hover a preset to see exactly what it turns on.

Improved

• Smooth Motion on anime: drawings held for two or three frames are now interpolated between, so the motion is fluid on every frame instead of stop-and-go.
• Smooth Motion has a Fast / Balanced / High quality choice. If the graphics card runs out of memory, it switches to a lighter setting instead of failing.
• Motion blur has an intensity slider, and follows speed changes: faster parts get a longer smear.
• The Clip panel is grouped into Motion and Color, with effects and fine settings folded away.
• Before / After stays in sync when the speed changes, and switches to side by side when the shape changes.
