  • Choose a workflow when creating an automation or change its workflow in Edit while retaining tools and result-email recipients.

  • Automation creation and editing reuse the searchable grouped tool selector, independently of global chat settings. Select no tools explicitly or restore workflow defaults; unavailable discovery is explained.

  • Managed Assistant workflow revision 3 supplies baseline file, web and command tools when inputs omit tools; explicit empty selections and narrower permissions remain respected. Existing automations retain their pinned workflow until their target is revised.
