This is the code for creating the ISO
hdiutil create -o /tmp/Sonoma -size 16384m -volname Sonoma -layout SPUD -fs HFS+J
hdiutil attach /tmp/Sonoma.dmg -noverify -mountpoint /Volumes/Sonoma
sudo /Applications/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma.app/Contents/Resources/createinstallmedia --volume /Volumes/Sonoma –nointeraction
hdiutil eject -force /Volumes/Install\ macOS\ Sonoma
hdiutil convert /tmp/Sonoma.dmg -format UDTO -o ~/Desktop/Sonoma
mv -v ~/Desktop/Sonoma.cdr ~/Desktop/Sonoma.iso
rm -fv /tmp/Sonoma.dmg
As prerequisite we first have to install the VMWare WorkStation 17 Pro in our laptop, as explained in section 1 in this document
We unzip the file Unlocker-v2.0.1-x64.zip in this github repo and press the Patch button
In the next section we can verify the Mac Virtual Machines are available in VMWare WorkStation Pro 17
We create a new Virtual Machine(VM)
We first open VMWare
We click on Create a New Virtual Machine button
We select the option we will select the operating system later and press the Next button
Then we select the Operating System Mac OS and the version 14
We select the VM name and location
We input the VM hardrive space
Now we have to customize the VM
We configure the VM Ram memory. It is advisable to select minimum 8 Gb
We select the number of processors and cores per processor
We select the Sonoma ISO immage file
We choose the network NAT adapter
We set the USB Controller
We leave the default values for the *Sound Card
We finally input the Display Settings
We press on Power on this virtual machine button
Then we will be shown the following Mac OS running window
We also will be asked to select the Mac OS language (English)
We first select the Disk Utility and press the continue button
Now we have to Erase VMWare Virtual SATA Hard Drive Media
We input the hard drive name and leave the other fields with the default values and press the Erase button
To continue we press the Done button
We select the Sonoma OS and press the continue button
We select the Country Region(Spain)
We press continue in the Written and Spoken language screen
We also press continue in the Accesibility screen
We also leave the default values in the subsequent screens
We select Set Up Later in the Sign in With Your Apple ID screen
We accept the Terms and Conditions screen
We choose the Ligth Screen option
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not forget to input the Account name and Password for your new Mac Sonoma during the installation last steps
Finally we confirm the Mac Sonoma Operating System is fully running in our Windows laptop
If you restart the VMWare VM you will be asked to input your password
Click on the Apple icon button and then select the menu option About this Mac
We can see the actual Sonoma version installed
Click on the Apple icon button and then select the menu option System Settings...
We select the Software Update Available menu option and the press the Update Now bytton
We accept the Terms and Conditions
We have to wait until the new Sonoma version is downloaded
After downloading latest Sonoma version 14.5 we have to wait for preparing the new environment
We have to wait for a long time to install the new Sonoma version, during this period of time the computer
automatically will be restarted and finally we can login again to the Mac OS
We can verify the Sonoma latest version was installed
