Important

Upgrade the Server to v2.7.0 before using Task dependencies: older Servers reject nonempty dependency lists. Existing v2 Clients remain compatible with the new Server. The Server automatically migrates its database on startup. Upgrading the Client and Server together is recommended.

Changes

  • Add experimental Task dependencies through the Python API, HTTP API and CLI, allowing a Task to wait until all direct predecessors in the same Queue have succeeded.
  • Keep dependency handling minimal: accept missing IDs and cycles, allow ordinary dependency updates and deletion without reference protection, and leave pending-work diagnosis and data transfer to users.
  • Fix repeated macOS process scans in Workers to reduce observation overhead.
