Memory Harness 2.2.0 Public Preview
Memory Harness 2.2.0 Public Preview now includes desktop and headless Linux packages.
Primary downloads:
- macOS Intel and Apple Silicon:
Memory-Harness-2.2.0-macos-universal.zip - Windows 11 x64:
Memory-Harness-2.2.0-windows-x64.zip - Linux x64 headless server:
Memory-Harness-2.2.0-linux-x64.tar.gz - Linux ARM64 headless server:
Memory-Harness-2.2.0-linux-arm64.tar.gz
The Linux packages do not require X11, Wayland or a browser. They include a static memoryosd binary, idempotent installer, hardened systemd unit, readiness-aware health check, uninstall script and server deployment guide. The service runs as a dedicated non-login user, starts automatically after reboot, keeps data under /var/lib/memory-harness, and listens only on 127.0.0.1:19777; use an SSH tunnel instead of exposing the memory API directly to the Internet.
Validation completed in GitHub-hosted Linux environments:
- native Linux x64 daemon start, health, Doctor and Owner-boundary check;
- x64 package extraction, installation, systemd enable/start, health and uninstall;
- native Linux ARM64 build, daemon start, health and Doctor;
- Go full test suite, Vet, frontend typecheck, Lint, tests and production build;
- both release archives rebuilt from a clean committed source snapshot and verified against
SHA256SUMS-linux.txt.
Desktop platform ZIPs include the desktop installer, matching memoryosd MCP companion, installation guide and internal checksums. Hybrid local RAG combines SQLite FTS5 BM25, a deterministic 384-dimensional local feature embedding, time relevance and recency.
Desktop validation covers Intel macOS and Windows 11 x64. The macOS binary contains x86_64 and arm64 slices; real Apple Silicon desktop runtime testing is not part of this round. Public preview desktop artifacts are not Apple Developer ID/notarized or Windows Authenticode-signed.
