There are two new commands lit up [upstream] and lit down that changes lit between online and offline mode. When in offline mode it doesn't even try to look upstream when searching or matching packages. When in online mode, it always looks online and downloads objects on demand (caching them locally). Also the up command optionally allows setting a custom upstream. It defaults to lit.creationix.com.
