Index data is shared across branches

Currently, the workspace is indexed only once, and switching branches does not update it.

Ideally, there should be a separate index for each branch. There should also be a cleanup logic to remove any old data to save space.

Additionally, indexing can cause VS Code to completely freeze on larger codebases and slower machines. Need to optimize this
