we have a version from 2010 only

a diff showed me a lot of changes, but i dont know which version the current one could be and where to find it.

The magento_mobile on Firegento currently available is 1.7.0.1.23.0 and the slightly newer 1.7.0.1.23.1 on MagentoConnect (http://www.magentocommerce.com/magento-connect/magento-mobile-6497.html) suffers from the corrupt TGZ problem of the Magento 1.6 packager. Both seem to contain a codebase with 2010 as specified date inside the code files but it seems to feature more functionality than the newer files in the Magento community edition.

It seems to me that the community edition does not actually use this extension anymore but has incorporated it into its codebase in 2010 and then just bumped the date info along with the rest of the core. This should be addressed between Firegento and the Magento community edition devs because currently, I don't see a way to install a version identical to the official community edition by using Composer.
