Can't edit XML instruction page for version 2.2

Description:

I would like to edit https://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.2/frontend-dev-guide/layouts/xml-instructions.html but the edit link takes me to a symlink in Github rather than a markdown file. See this Twitter thread for more info - https://twitter.com/front_end_code/status/1000039392721952768

I would like to add some info about block class no longer being required, I tried to make the change in this pull request (not created) but I don't believe this is the correct way - develop...BenSpace48:patch-6

Steps to reproduce

1. Go to https://devdocs.magento.com/guides/v2.2/frontend-dev-guide/layouts/xml-instructions.html
2. Click on the edit page link
3. It takes you here - https://github.com/magento/devdocs/blob/develop/guides/v2.2/frontend-dev-guide/layouts/xml-instructions.md

Expected result:

The page can easily be edited.

Hey @BenSpace48, thanks for letting us know about this. As explained on Twitter, you can create a PR in which you copy xml-instructions.md from v2.1 to v2.2 and then make your changes to the v2.2 file. If this isn't something you want more help with, let me know. Otherwise, please submit a PR for this and I'll be glad to review it and merge. Thanks!
