Purpose of this pull request
This pull request (PR) updates the devdocs contribution guidelines to clarify our position on recognizing community contributions on the DevDocs web site.
We recognize individual doc contributions only, using file metadata, which renders the contributor's name and link to GitHub profile or company website on the published page.
We no longer recognize individual feature contributions to the Magento 2 codebase in the corresponding devdocs topic(s). There are more appropriate channels for this type of recognition, such as the Magento DevBlog.
