Hangry No Mas is an interactive restaurant decision-making game that searches by zip code and meal of choice (breakfast/lunch/dinner/snacks or cuisine), places options on a spinning wheel and allows the user to "spin" the wheel. After pressing "spin", the wheel returns a random choice and congratulations the user on making a decision. The user is also allowed to play again, which returns to the initial screen of collecting choice preferences.
Foodies / restaurant go-ers spend far too much time deliberating over where to eat. The pressure and time lost over making a simple decision as where to eat is an issue.
If we provide an interactive, easy-to-use spinning wheel that chooses a restaurant for the user we can prevent time lost during the day because users would rather spend time doing other activities than deciding where to eat.
- Randomly pick a restaurant and redirect to text
- Use a 'loading' animation

While the main purpose of the app was accomplished, the following improvements could add to the UX of the page as a whole.
- The font of the resturants on the spinning wheel could be updated to look more modern
- The 'SPIN' button could be changed to a flat design
- There could be more search parameters in addition to cuisine and radius from zip code (price range, hours open...)
- Yelp - The API used to search
- Animate.css - Used to animate input form entry
- Maire Chew - Project in entirety -

- Hat tip to CodePen user Barney Parker for providing the base code and functionality to the spinning wheel
- Shoutout to any indecisive foodie that might have a hard time making these crucial decisions regularly :)
