- Fade price colors over 900 ms without changing text weight or decoration,
and show a fixed-width ASCII indicator while requests are in progress.
The new Animations settings row previews and saves an off switch; ANSI
themes retain their own palette and use a brief color highlight.
- Render on input, data and clock changes, with a frame limit during
effects and slower refresh activity. Idle screens no longer rebuild ten
times a second, and slow terminals skip missed animation frames.
- Reserve space for changing quote values and session countdowns on wide
rails. Truncate headlines by display cells without splitting graphemes.
Settings keep the selected row visible even in small panes.
- Use synchronized output only when the current Unix terminfo entry
advertises a compatible Sync capability. End each frame on render errors
and unwinding too; missing support keeps ordinary output. The file-only
ui.synchronized_output switch can disable the extension.
