the model Explorer takes givens
The Console's model Explorer now shows a Parameters row when the model declares givens, and
sends the values with every Run. Before this, a source gated with #(authorize) on a given could
not be explored from the Console at all: the Explorer had no way to supply the value, the server
answered 403, and the Explorer showed nothing.
- The values live in the page URL, so a parameterized exploration is a shareable link (the page's
copy-link button now carries them too). - A blank given with a default runs, and the result says which default it used. When a query is
refused and a given with no default was left blank, the results pane names it. - Query errors, including a 403 from a gate, now show in the results pane instead of vanishing.
- Explore from here on a dashboard and a notebook cell's Data sources dialog open the
Explorer with the document's current values rather than none.
No server or API change: the Explorer sends givens through the same POST …/query field notebooks
and dashboards use. See docs/explorer.md.
notebook cells receive only the givens in their own scope
A notebook cell now ignores a given the notebook declares only in a later cell.
Previously any code cell that ran before the notebook's import of a given 400'd
with unknown given when the caller sent that given, which is what the Publisher
UI and a router injecting trusted givens both do. A given the cell's own imports
declare is still forwarded, and a name declared nowhere in the notebook still 400s.
