Bounded mail previews and page selection, transactional bulk flag updates, on-demand original mail rendering, incremental contacts, bounded attachment/image processing and model/network buffers. Fixes repeated cache rebuilding caused by CRLF preview expansion. Includes the iOS resource-management changes.

Requires macOS 26+ on Apple Silicon. The download bundles EmbeddingGemma 2 and is Developer ID signed and Apple notarized. iCloud sync is off by default.

Chat reads mail when needed

• Inbox browsing now supplies a compact search scope instead of a mailbox ID inventory.
• Ordinary questions begin without inbox mail content. Selected messages and attachments supply their own evidence; search and reading tools retrieve relevant snippets as needed.
• Every model round is limited to 18 mail snippets. The running state shows how many messages were provided.
• Captured accounts, folders and filters remain fixed during a request. Navigation or new accounts do not expand its reading scope.
• The iPhone controller follows the same reading policy.
• IMAP sync inventories and background analysis retain lightweight identifiers, reducing the lifetime of old message-body snapshots.

199 macOS regression tests passed, including captured model-request checks for absence of unrelated inbox body content. 23 tests that require external conditions were skipped.

Requires macOS 26+ and Apple Silicon. The ZIP is Developer ID signed, Apple notarized and stapled. Existing Morrow/Smail data and credential identifiers remain compatible; iCloud stays optional and off by default. Mail/model configuration instructions are in the repository.

Morrow is a native AI email partner for macOS, with SwiftUI sources for iPhone and iPad.

• New Morrow name, icon and Coral identity; existing Smail data and credential namespaces remain compatible.
• Stable Chat collapse and expansion, with the toggle fixed at the upper right.
• Visible model/settings save feedback and persistence of typed model configuration.
• A persistent indicator while a chat or delegated work is running.
• IME composition protection, multiple chat sessions, managed memories, contextual tools and OpenUI interactions.
• Production CloudKit signing, with isolated sync state per environment. iCloud is optional and off by default.

Installation

Download the Apple Silicon ZIP, extract Morrow.app, and place it in Applications. Requires macOS 26.0 or later. The application is Developer ID signed, Apple notarized and stapled.

Gmail OAuth configuration and model services are described in the repository's configuration guide. Email contents, credentials, local databases and signing material are excluded from this release. iPhone/iPad source is included; the macOS download is not an iOS installer.
