Hello,

Issue #15 was closed but the issue remains: Ftpmaster refuses the distribution by Debian since we can not provide security fixes.

It would be great if you could drop this trademark restriction.

Kind regards

      Andreas.

Hi Andreas,
I agree the trademark is unfortunate, but as @ondovb correctly noted, the trademark is owned by the Department of Homeland Security and beyond our control:
https://www.dhs.gov/department-homeland-security-intellectual-property-policy

However, this trademark only applies only to the Krona name; The code is BSD licensed. I wonder if it is possible to rename it for the purpose of releasing a modified version with Debian?

This idea came to my mind as well. Since I'd like to keep the level of
confusing names and the smell of a fork low - what name would you
consider a sensible one?

Kind regards

   Andreas.

"KronaTools" may work, since the actual trademark is just "Krona". You could also use "Radiant", which was the original name (and still in SourceForge with a redirect). We avoided Radiant so our name could be trademarked, but you wouldn't have that problem I'm guessing.
