Added

  • Android / permissions: add shouldShowRequestPermissionRationale(): Promise<boolean> to query Android's current recommendation for explanatory UI before requesting POST_NOTIFICATIONS. The result does not determine whether another permission dialog can appear. On Android 13+ a missing Activity rejects with ERR_NO_ACTIVITY; below API 33 and on other platforms the query resolves false (not applicable). Existing permission requests, settings and request-history behavior are unchanged.

Fixed

  • CI / Jest: build the React Native package before running tests so the published Jest mock can resolve its generated dist imports on a clean checkout.
