Features
The OpenCode workflow guard has been removed. It was already off by default since v3.23.0, so default-configured plugins see no change. For users who opted in, guarded operations are no longer blocked, and guard receipts, status, and guidance are gone. The four systematic_workflow_* tools are also removed; stale calls receive OpenCode's ordinary invalid-tool result and the turn continues. (#1169)
Existing workflow_guard configuration is accepted and ignored, with a deprecation warning once per file per config load. The published schema retains a deprecated property, and malformed values no longer prevent startup. Removing the guard also removes the web-tree-sitter and tree-sitter-bash dependencies and their native-build helpers.
Bug Fixes
The plugin host-history test fixture now isolates its Git commands from inherited GIT_* variables and global/system configuration, using command-local fixture identity. This prevents its setup from writing configuration or commits into a caller repository selected by inherited Git environment variables. A subprocess regression verifies that the caller repository remains untouched. (#1157)
Documentation
The host-contract learning document now describes the gate, four timed shards, required aggregator, merged-report checks, and timing-refresh procedure, replacing the previous serial-job guidance. (#1162)
Continuous Integration
The host-contract integration suite now runs in four parallel, timing-balanced shards on pull requests that need it, rather than one serial job; duplicate runs on pushes to main are skipped. The required Host Contract check retains its name and always runs its aggregator. When the suite is needed, missing reports or skipped, cancelled, or failed shards cause failure, with expected-file coverage and pass counts checked across all four reports. Changes anywhere under .github/ now trigger the suite. (#1161)
