About Me:

😄 I'm Martijn de Vries, and I am a Data Scientist and Researcher from San Francisco, currently pursuing a career in Data Science.
🔭 Before my move to Data Science, I was an astrophysicist! I worked on different topics, such as supermassive black holes, clusters of galaxies, and pulsars.
🇳🇱 I'm originally from the Netherlands, and lived in Amsterdam before I moved to the US.
👨‍🎓 I got my Ph.D at the University of Amsterdam, and afterwards was a postdoctoral researcher at Stanford
