v0.4.0
Highlights
- Commit list in the sidebar.
[view] sidebar_commits = true(or<leader>E) puts the log's commits under the file tree, so you can flip between commits without going back to the log. The open commit has a highlighted background;C-j/C-kmove between the tree and the list;Enteropens a commit and keeps you in the list;j/k,gg/G,C-d/C-umove. - Mouse support (on by default,
[mouse] enabled = falseto turn it off). Click focuses a pane and picks a row; double-click opens; a click on a directory arrow toggles it; drag in the diff selects lines forc(comment) ory(copy); the wheel scrolls whatever is under the pointer. Shift+drag still gives your terminal's own selection. - Pagination. Moving past the last row (
j,G,C-dor the wheel, in the log and the commit list) loads the next page in the background. A dim… morerow shows more history exists. Searches and filters stay on what's loaded and say… more not loadedon a miss. - Search in the commit list.
/?nNmove the list's cursor without opening anything;fopens the log's one filter, so the list, the log and]]/[[always agree.
Changed
- jj now lists the same scope as git: the ancestors of the current commit (
::@, like git'sHEAD), instead of jj'srevsets.log. In repos whererevsets.logshowed only a handful of commits you now see the whole history. - New
[log]config:revsetandlimit(default 200, also the page size).--revsetand--limitstill override them.
See the guide for every key and setting.
