A dependency update: ramble now builds on mdroots 0.3 and debrief-review 0.4.

Changed

  • Smaller notebook index. mdroots 0.3 roughly halves the in-memory index (about 38 MB instead of 75 MB at 10,000 notes) with the same query speed. ramble embeds it, so large notebooks use less memory.
  • Better handling of broken front matter. An entry the parser can't read, such as tags: [a or title: "bad\q", no longer turns into a junk tag, title or link in search, tags and backlinks. Valid entries next to it keep their values.

Dependencies

  • mdroots 0.3.0 (was 0.2.9).
  • debrief-review 0.4.0 (was 0.3.1): a version bump with no code changes.

Download a binary below (macOS Apple silicon, Linux x86_64), or build from source:

cargo install --git https://github.com/martintrojer/ramble --tag v0.3.1 --bin ramble
