APK Toolbox 1.1.7 — downstream fork preview

This is a temporary downstream release from marvin1099/APK-Toolbox while the changes are tested and submitted for upstream review. If upstream accepts these changes, prefer the corresponding official APK-Toolbox release.

APK variants

• *-signed-*: production/minified APK signed with this fork's release certificate.
• *-unsigned-*: unsigned release output; Android will not install it until it is signed.
• *-debug-*: debug build signed with Android's debug certificate; for testing only, not daily use.
• universal works across ABIs; architecture-specific APKs are smaller.

Important signing and data warning

The signed fork APKs use a certificate different from upstream APK-Toolbox. Android will reject an in-place update between upstream-signed and fork-signed APKs in either direction. Debug builds are signed with yet another certificate. Do not uninstall an existing APK-Toolbox app just to switch signing identities: uninstalling removes that app's private settings and clone-signing key, and losing the clone-signing key can prevent future in-place clone updates. The unsigned APKs are not directly installable.

Future signed fork releases require the same fork keystore. Keep a secure backup of that keystore and its credentials; neither is included in these assets. The fork release certificate SHA-256 fingerprint is:
