EpenseMate V2.2
EpenseMate V2.1
What's New
Fixes
- Fixed incorrect approval routing — when someone recorded "X paid for me," the approval request was mistakenly sent back to themselves instead of the other party. Approvals now always go to the correct counterparty.
Features
- Pending approvals badge — the nav bar now shows a live count badge on "Pending Approvals," so you know at a glance if something needs your attention, without opening the page.
- Personal Transactions page — a new "Transactions" view lets you see every transaction you've paid or received, with filters by note, amount, date, and status (previously only visible per-person or to admins).
- Settle Up shortcut — each balance on the dashboard now has a "Settle Up" button that pre-fills a transaction to zero out that balance, instead of manually re-entering amounts.
- Password visibility toggle — the login page's password field can now be toggled to show/hide the typed password.
- Loading screens — replaced plain "Loading..." text across the app (sign-in, dashboard, transactions, pending approvals) with an animated two-avatar money-exchange loader.
Improvements
- Dashboard redesign — Net Balance is now a prominent hero card; settled-up (₹0) balances collapse into a "Settled up" section instead of cluttering the list; Recent Activity now reads in plain language (e.g. "Ankit approved a ₹500 transaction").
- Cleaned up duplicate theme toggle — removed a redundant light/dark mode button that appeared twice in the mobile nav menu.
