v2.3.0

2.3.0 (2026-09-22)

Features

• a disc that names the machine it needs switches the emulator to that machine (#1168) (7b91801)
• Bitshifters discs in the media window (#1161) (3c9b678)
• the disc drive spins up, and the Model B's ready comes from its index pulses (#1162) (aeee3ba)
• the drive noise follows the controller's seek timing (#1166) (7ee3866)

Bug Fixes

• a head movement takes over the drive noise from the last, so steps after a long seek are heard (#1158) (dd2a8af)
• a save state for another machine reloads without the page's own boot, the way a disc switch does (#1169) (f3f267e)
• phosphor persistence decays and blends off screen, so the screen never shows the dimmed picture (#1157) (0c45496)
