Bug fixes

  • Fix incorrect timestamps on subtitles extracted from MKV files. This release picks up libpgs v0.5.0, which corrects a bug in the MKV cue fast path where display set PTS values were shifted by the block's cluster-relative offset (0 to several seconds per block). Any .sup or PNG output produced by ProofPGS v1.6.1 or earlier from a cue-indexed MKV had incorrect timestamps baked in. Re-extract affected content with this release — output is now byte-for-byte identical to mkvextract.

Build provenance

All release archives are built from source in GitHub Actions against libpgs v0.5.0. Each archive includes a BUILD_INFO.txt with the exact libpgs commit used. Verify with:
