Q: After installing the driver in Windows 8/8.1 it seems not to be working at all. What am i doing wrong?
Your installation is okay if in the device manager you see a new device. When you install the driver you must go to Windows Action center and click "finish new device installation" promt. Then the configuration window will appear so you can configure your sane server access. This problem occurs because of differences between Windows 7 and Windows 8/8.1 driver installation handling.
