Linux

Snowhush now runs on Linux too, on Wayland with KDE Plasma 6, Sway or niri. Snowhush-x86_64.AppImage runs on any distribution; there is also a .deb and an .rpm. Snow settles on windows everywhere; on niri on floating windows, since niri tells where only those are. Thanks to @TryCoffee, who ported it to KDE Plasma.

On Windows with the taskbar set to hide itself, the taskbar slides out again, and the snow no longer freezes while it slides, blinks when it is clicked or flickers behind a maximized window. Alt+Tab no longer hides the snow (#4). Snow on windows now waits while they are full screen or maximized, and on the Mac while Mission Control is open, instead of hanging in the air.

Drifts stay lower: Melt Snow now keeps nearly in step with the snowfall, so drifts level off at about the same height whether it snows lightly or heavily.
