Crowdin Markdown table+pipe issue

🐛 Bug Report

We use pipe in markdown tables to describe TS union types

| `editUrl` | <code>string \| EditUrlFunction</code> | `undefined` | Base URL to edit your site. The final URL is computed by `editUrl + relativeDocPath`. Using a function allows more nuanced control for each file. Omitting this variable entirely will disable edit links. |

But this leads to weird results on Crowdin:

And display badly on localized sites:

We should find a way to find a syntax that Crowdin can understand, or ask their support for a solution.

Indeed, we don't have <small> now 😄 But I don't know if they actually mean <small> or <code>...

It is true that Crowdin's answer is a bit ambiguous.

How can we proceed to test Crowdin's workaround?

maybe we revert some changes of the linked PR and see if it works better after merge?

For your information, I found a workaround in Crowdin while waiting for Crowdin's correction

You just have to copy the original English version with the <code> and </code> tags

The rendering in french on docusaurus.io is now correct :

@forresst Could you elaborate on the "copy the original English version"? Do you mean manually checking out the original Markdown source? Because the "Copy Source" button still copies gibberish.

Re-typing the \| certainly works, because it's Markdown after all.
