English

Feature release: a modern camera-popup look, styleable buttons and a fixed video height. Everything is contributed by @pelkiegr and off by default, so existing popups look exactly as before. For the fields from Home Assistant you need ha-pipup 1.27.0.

  • Camera popup look (#71):
    • liveBadge puts a "Live" pill on the stream once the first frame renders, never on the poster. liveBadgeColor defaults to amber; liveBadgePosition takes any corner.
    • mediaFullBleed runs the media edge to edge across the top, rounded with the popup's corners.
    • buttonsInline puts the buttons beside the title and message, e.g. a single compact "✕".
  • Button style (#70): buttonColor, buttonFocusColor, buttonTextColor, buttonBorderColor, buttonCornerRadius. A malformed color falls back to the classic look.
  • media.video.height (#69): fixes the stream area's height until the first frame, so an anamorphic NVR snapshot (a 704×480 still of a 4:3 picture) no longer makes the box jump.
  • Fixed: buttonsInline on a popup with only media (no title, message or icon) put the buttons in a removed row, so they never showed. They now keep their own row.

Tested on a Fire TV: full-bleed WHEP camera with the Live badge and an inline ✕ in a custom style, a media-only popup with inline buttons, and an RTSP video with a fixed height.

Thanks

@pelkiegr for all three features, each with tests, screenshots and a matching ha-pipup PR (#69, #70, #71).

Nederlands

  • Knopstijl (#70): buttonColor, buttonFocusColor, buttonTextColor, buttonBorderColor, buttonCornerRadius.
