VS Code Python tutorial - "Start VS Code in a project (workspace) folder

mkdir hello
cd hello
code .

Steps to Reproduce:

1. in order to launch VS Code from terminal using "code .", user must first go into VS Code
2. do CMD + Shift + P
3. install "Shell Command: Install 'code' command into PATH".

I assume you are referring to the instructions at https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/python/python-tutorial#_start-vs-code-in-a-project-workspace-folder

I think these are intended to be used from a native shell or command prompt, not from Terminal within VS Code.

John is correct in his assessment, so I'm closing this as a misunderstanding of the tutorial.
