Type: Bug
I am using VS Code on a remote server to which I connect through ssh.
After installing the Python Extension on the Remote Machine (Linux CentOS),
the process get stuck when "Discovering Python Interpreters".
As a result no extension is loaded, and Python functionalities simply won't work.
Here is the notification I see:
And other extensions like Pylance are not available too (for example, I would have expected the import error to be spotted)
