Conda environment's name not showing up in status bar

I see something very similar (Linux, VSCode 1.25.1, Python extension 2018.6.0). Here's the top of the list of interpreters:

In this case, the base environment, blog and modman are all described as "Anaconda Python 3.6.5", however only the base is using this version of Python; blog is in fact using Python 3.6.6 and modman is using Python 3.7.0.

Here's the bottom of the list of interpreters:

You can see here a second entry for the modman env, this time entitled "Python 3.7.0", and referencing the python3 executable rather than the python executable. Very puzzling.

Interesting, unable to replicate on Anaconda 4.5.1 and 4.5.2 on the Mac.
Will try on Linux.

What version of Anaconda do you have? Please could you dump the contents of the command conda info?

@DonJayamanne Update: now running with version 2018.7.1 of the extension, and I no longer see the problem shown in the first screenshot above. Python versions are now reported correctly:

However, I still see two entries for the modman conda environment, as per the second screenshot above.

I can replicate the original issue (#2135 (comment)), by not having conda in the current path.
