v0.4.0
Switch to an already-open workspace instead of opening a duplicate.
enteron a picker entry whose workspace is already open switches to it (the lowest-numbered one when several share the label).→still opens a new, named session.herdr-workspaces open <name>does the same from the CLI: it switches to a workspace already open under that exact name and opens one only when none is.open <name> --label <label>still always opens a new session.
Install: herdr plugin install mikedclarke/herdr-workspaces (or reinstall to update).
v0.3.0
Name a session on open.
- Press
→(right arrow) on a picker entry for a one-line prompt, prefilled with the entry's name, to label this session apart from one already running in the same directory. The label applies to this open only; the registered entry is untouched, and a cleared prompt falls back to the name. herdr-workspaces open <name> --label <label>does the same from the CLI.
Install: herdr plugin install mikedclarke/herdr-workspaces (or reinstall to update).
v0.2.0
Directories as workspaces for herdr: register the places you work, pick one, get a named workspace rooted there.
- Navigation-first picker keys: enter open, a add, e edit, d delete (with confirm), q close, and / for the fuzzy filter. Esc leaves the filter applied so a filtered entry can be edited or deleted.
- Edit workspaces in place: the form opens prefilled and saves back to the entry's file, moving it on rename.
- add / edit / remove / list / open CLI commands; edit changes only the flags you pass.
- Prebuilt binaries for macOS and Linux (amd64/arm64), verified against SHA256SUMS by scripts/install.sh; scripts/build.sh uses them automatically when Go is absent.
Install: herdr plugin install mikedclarke/herdr-workspaces (herdr >= 0.7.0)
