OpenMausBot 0.1.117
This release keeps your computer and My Cloud in step with one button, shows your bots' cloud computers live on the Team map, lets a bot pick up its work when your AI limit resets, and opens Live calls to everyone with their own OpenAI key. Update to get them. There is nothing else to do.
New
- Your computer and My Cloud, side by side. Settings → MausBot Cloud now shows what each has: bots, skills, logins and settings, for example "Ember only here" or "1Password only here".
- Send everything to My Cloud brings them over. It only adds and updates, and never deletes anything on either side.
- Keep My Cloud up to date with this computer (on by default) sends new bots, logins and settings by themselves while the app is open.
- When you open My Cloud and something from your computer is missing, a line at the top offers Bring them over.
- Chats, engine sign-ins and routines stay separate, so nothing runs twice. A new guide explains it all: "Using the desktop app with My Cloud". (#3104)
- See every bot's computer on the Team map. Each cloud computer sits next to its bot as a small screen that updates while the bot works, with what it's doing right now. Click a screen to open that computer. Show computers switches them off. (#3077)
- Message your bots from the Team map. Type at the bottom of the map and tag a bot, a whole team or
@everyone. Each tagged bot gets the message in its own chat and starts working, and its card lights up briefly so you can see who got it. (#3077) - Run when my AI limit resets. (#3074)
- When a turn stops because you hit your Claude or Codex limit, the chat offers Continue at 3:40 PM when your limit resets. One click, and the bot picks the conversation back up at that time.
- Automations have a new "when": When my AI limit resets. You can set it up in chat, in the editor, or by dropping a bot or automation on the reset marker in the calendar.
- Near a limit, you see it coming, for example "Claude: 92% used · resets 3:40 PM". Move to after reset shifts schedules that would run into it.
- If you've set a backup engine, a turn that hits a usage limit continues on the backup and says so. After the reset, the bot goes back to its own engine.
- Live calls for everyone. You no longer need a paid plan for Live calls. They use your own OpenAI key from Settings → API keys, and OpenAI bills about $0.05 per minute. Without a key, the call button tells you where to add one. (#3071)
- Import a shared Grok Bot. Paste a Grok Bot link or marketplace page in Templates → Import or the new Settings → Import page. You see who made it and what it does, then bring in its full setup, either through your own Grok Bot or by signing in with Cursor. Your Chief of Staff can finish connecting its apps. Settings → Import also brings in skills and tools from Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Claude Desktop and Gemini. (#3073)
- MausBot Cloud can sleep when idle. On plans that sleep, your Cloud rests when nobody is using it and wakes for schedules, app events, and when you open it. The desktop app leaves a sleeping Cloud asleep instead of waking it for background syncing. (#3075, #3076)
Fixes
- Passkey sign-ins in a bot's browser. When a site asks for a passkey the browser doesn't have, the request now ends straight away, like Chrome on a computer without one. So "Try another way" and the other sign-in options work, and the bot is told what to do. Clicks that open a new page are also no longer reported as "nothing changed". (#3103)
- The bots' browser looks like a normal Chrome to sites: the right languages and your time zone. (#3105)
- My Cloud stays up when memory runs short. Extra tasks wait with a "Waiting for memory" note instead of crashing the Cloud. If memory runs out anyway, the message says so instead of blaming the AI provider. (#3106)
- My Cloud has python3, pdftotext and unzip, so bots no longer fail on them. (#3100)
- My Cloud reports its real version instead of "unknown". (#3101)
- Chat previews show real messages. The sidebar no longer shows "Screen frame" under a bot that used a computer or the browser; it shows the bot's latest reply. (#3077)
- My Cloud's health no longer says "Needs a look" because of an app connection that was never set up. (#3072)
- Shared workspaces: Mark all as seen on routine runs only covers bots you can see. Before, it could also clear failed runs of bots hidden from you. Thanks to Nikhil Agrawal (Mettle Labs) for reporting it. (#3098)
Still on an older version?
OpenMausBot updates itself. If it doesn't, download the installer for your system below and install it over the old one. Your bots and chats are kept. MausBot Clouds move to this version on their own.
